“Inis is a competitive strategy board game rooted deeply in Celtic lore and history. In Inis each player plays as a Chieftain of their territory, and one player is randomly designated the “King” at the beginning of each round (Season). It’s core mechanics are reminiscent of strategy games like Risk with card game elements similar to games like Magic the Gathering. Each game tends to take less than a couple of hours which is refreshing in the strategy board game genre. Also featured is the expansion, Seasons of Inis, which adds another layer of complexity to the “season” system as well as a faster way to determine the winner. Come and compete for the Celtic throne!”
